Executive Assistant - Paediatric Emergency DepartmentJob no: 891925Work type: Full timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Administration, Business and ManagementAbout the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Emergency Department team as an Executive Assistant, where you will be responsible for:Providing a high level of administrative support to the departments Medical Unit Head & Nursing Service Director, Consultants, and other senior medical staff in the department.Liaising with Medical Unit Head and Nursing Service Director frequently to assist them with achieving their role, by assisting them with coordinating their diary appointments, arranging travel and accommodation, intercepting, receiving and redirecting telephone calls and unexpected events on their behalf as appropriate.Contributing to the provision of effective patient care management by maintaining accurate records, booking lists and other details.Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective and confidential office management practices, procedures, and standards in relation to the provision of personal assistant level administrative support services to the Unit Heads, undertaking responsibility for the effective and efficient management of a comprehensive correspondence and records management service negotiating priorities and work required to achieve team goals.Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Hospital Executive Staff, Divisional Executive, other Divisional Directors, staff of various external organisations and professional associations, and clients from the private and public sector.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in a similar role, highlighting sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise varying and conflicting workloads.Proven ability to proactively identify problems and issues and to exercise initiative/sound judgement in formulating and implementing solutions and actions.Proven ability to work with a high degree of independence, to determine priorities and to anticipate the requirements of Executive Level Managers.Demonstrated high level competency in word processing, excel, power point, email, scheduler, and communication skills both written and verbal.Experience in providing high level support for meetings/functions.Experience in the preparation of agendas, minutes, letters and drafting correspondence and proof reading.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.
