About Us East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. Our aged care services focus on the individual, their family, friends and community. Individualised care is assured by identifying the resident's personal preferences and interest in all areas across the social and clinical spectrum. We have adopted the Montessori environment to provide purpose and stimulation through everyday activities. This approach supports our residents to live their lives to the fullest and make the most of the services we have to offer. About the Role The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide advanced administrative assistance to the Director, designated committees and workgroups within the Medical Services Department. Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrator in a health or corporate environment is desirable. This challenging role requires advanced computer, exceptional organisation and time management, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant will be clearly able to demonstrate a team oriented approach based on the values of East Grampians Health Service, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to High level of executive support to senior management Coordination of meetings, including video & telephone conferences Agenda preparation and minute taking Management of Visiting Medical Officer credentialing General administration to assist the Director as required The successful candidate must have recent knowledge, experience, and skills in executive administration and be able to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
