Executive Assistant, International Services

Be a part of Australia's independent national broadcaster Location: Negotiable Full Time, Permanent Role $93K to $102K plus 15.4% ABC Nominated Super Fund About the Role In this role you will be tasked with providing high level executive support to the Head International and the International Services and International Development teams.
You will use a high level of judgement in managing the diary and commitments of the Head of International ensuring effective coordination of meetings, presentations and the Head of International's diary.
You will also: Manage and execute travel arrangements and bookings for domestic and international trips associated with the business of International Services.
Develop itineraries and arrange high level meetings with executive staff within the ABC and with external stakeholders and other parties.
Effectively administer the day to day operations of the office and exercise sound judgement in dealing with generally complex and confidential matters.
Appraise incoming enquiries and correspondence, coordinate appropriate action and finalise matters not requiring the attention of the Head.
Provide specialist advice, undertake research and assemble information.
Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations; and undertake project work and coordinate project activities as required.
Ensure office records, information and file systems are up to date and appropriately managed across the International Services team.
Maintain effective liaison with senior management and staff in International Services, with other staff and teams within the Strategy Division, including the office of Director of Strategy and other ABC Teams and internal and external stakeholders About You We are seeking a high performing executive assistant, with experience preferably in an orgainsation with international operations.
You will have proven advanced administration and organisational ability and advanced written and verbal communication skills with aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail.
You will also have: Demonstrated experience in organising complex domestic and overseas travel.
Highly effective interpersonal skills and advanced ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of discretion and judgement under minimal supervision to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential material.
Demonstrated ability to apply initiative and judgement, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience in financial management processes.
