About the Role This role provides support and assistance to the General Manager, performing a range of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure the General Manager can execute with maximum effectiveness and impact.
The role also ensures the effective operation of the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort administration office to present a professional image and positive work environment, as well as providing administrative support to the Guest Experience function in relation to responses to guest experience, feedback and sentiment.

You will have the ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, be flexible, approachable and proactively seek out ways to go above and beyond.
You will be an all-rounder where no job is too big or too small, and be happy to get involved wherever your support is required.
As the ideal candidate, you will have significant experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role in a fast-paced, dynamic and complex environment and a proven track record of delivering results.
A multi-tasker with the drive to explore new ways of working and an open mind around how you support the team to drive the Resort's performance forward will be paramount.
You will have strong computer and technological aptitude with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with varied stakeholders, which is underpinned by professionalism and neutrality.
You will be providing secretarial support to the General Manager including but not limited to diary management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and expense claims.
You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia without restrictions and be comfortable working outside of business hours and across weekends and public holidays as required.
