The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) is Australia's independent expert regulator for health and safety, structural integrity, well integrity and environmental management for all offshore energy operations and greenhouse gas storage activities in Commonwealth waters, and in coastal waters where regulatory powers and functions have been conferred.
NOPSEMA also administers the functions of the Offshore Infrastructure Regulator (OIR), for the offshore renewables industry.
This includes the regulation of work health and safety, infrastructure integrity, and environmental management for offshore renewable energy infrastructure activities.

Role: NOPSEMA is recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to join its Perth office.
The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in providing high level, pro-active and executive business support to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Regulatory Operations Division to facilitate the smooth operation and function of the Division.
Key Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for diary and information management including efficient scheduling of meetings, appointments, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, as well as managing events and travel coordination.
You will also manage incoming correspondence, prepare and disseminate agendas, briefs, reports, presentations and other documents.
Depending upon the ambitions of the successful applicant, support to wider aspects of the division's leadership and deliverables, plus agency wide coordination is possible.
What are we looking for? The successful candidate should possess significant experience supporting Senior Executives, preferably in a government or regulatory environment, excellent attention to detail, and high level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You must be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and experience in the provision of secretarial and administrative support in a confidential office environment, with the ability to work independently and nimbly to manage competing priorities in a diverse workload.
You will be a strong team player, with the ability to take initiative to resolve issues and flexibility to shift tasks to deliver on operational needs in a fast-paced environment.
