Our client Ron Finemore Transport is a leading regional transport and logistics operator servicing the Eastern States of Australia. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant, supporting the Chief Executive Officer and other senior managers as required, to join the organisation and take responsibility for a critical role within the business. About the Role This is a permanent full-time position located at the Wodonga head office supporting the CEO. The position suits someone who is mature, level-headed and thrives on getting things done.
Your responsibilities will include:
Executive assistance to the CEO and other senior managers as required Diary management and meeting coordination Email management for the CEO Collation of documentation for Board meetings and quarterly financial reviews Ensuring all presentations and Board packs are prepared ahead of meetings Travel arrangements for the senior management team Expense reconciliations and the raising of purchase orders for the executive office Handling of media enquiries and other public relations Preparation of PowerPoint presentations for tenders About You You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic who likes to get the job done. You understand the busy demands of the executive office and work diligently to ensure that the CEO is operating as effectively as possible.
You have a flexible mindset and can easily adapt to the changing needs in a busy transport environment. Resolving problems before they come across the CEO's desk is a sign of a great day's work!
You will have the following experience and attributes:
Minimum 5+ years as an Executive Assistant or senior administrator (transport and logistics industries desirable) Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint) Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at a senior level A proactive mindset and solutions-focused thinking Capable of working independently Confident in being able to manage up Resilience, and the ability to think, adapt and learn in a fast-paced dynamic environment Experience working with Canva would be an advantage This is a great opportunity to apply your Executive Assistant skills within an exciting and growing company.
