As an Executive Assistant at Westpac, you will support the heads of our Financial Institutions and Government (FI&G) and our Business Controls teams.
You'll interact with various collaborators within the bank, liaising with different business units.
This role will give you the opportunity to fully utilise your exceptional organisational skills, along with your ability to build strong working relationships using effective communication and discretion.
Within this role, you will find opportunities for process simplification to improve business support functions within CIB and ensure all administrative affairs are managed efficiently whilst offering your support and expertise to the wider team.
Day to day, your responsibilities will include: Proactively manage and prioritise the team's activities, including meetings, diary management, and email handling to ensure business priorities are met.Promptly handle and effectively triage requests from both internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and resolution.Coordinate and manage customer-facing events, including venue selection, invitation drafting, and tracking responses.Act as a liaison point for IT and other business partners across the Group to facilitate smooth operations.Assist in the preparation of performance evaluations, dashboards, and strategy presentations for Leadership Team members.Coordinate travel arrangements, team meetings, and events, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.Expense planning and management, including processing, reconciling and approving accounts, payments and reimbursements.What's in it for me? What do I need? To be successful in this Executive Assistant role, you will need proven experience in an administrative support or similar role.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders and ensuring clear, effective communication.
