We are: Southern hemisphere's biggest fish marketHalf a century of history woven into our fabricCentre of the Australian seafood industry.One of the country's most visited tourism destinationsAs the Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the CEO's time, communications, and strategic initiatives are prioritised and handled with the utmost professionalism. Additionally, this role encompasses providing administrative support to our Chairman and the Executive group and ensuring alignment and consistent operational excellence through the coordination of Board meetings, Committees and Management meetings.
This position requires a proactive, resourceful, and highly adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can navigate complexity with ease.
Key Responsibilities: Provide executive administrative and project support to the CEO, the Chairman and the Executive by providing high level support whilst maintaining confidentialityPrepare, edit and distribute correspondence, communications, board reports, presentations and other documents as needed by the Executive Team.Schedule and administer monthly Board and regular Committee Meetings and as required – preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking Board action items.Travel arrangements for CEO, the Executive, Senior Management team and Board MembersAssist with organisation and execution of internal and external eventsCreate and or collate; Reports, PowerPoint presentations, research, spreadsheetsSkills And Qualifications Experience: Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting C-suite executives.Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling executive-level communications.Organisational Skills: Outstanding organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in all deliverables.Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong relationships, influence without authority, and manage up effectively.Confidentiality: Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.Why Join Us?
