The Opportunity Join us in this great opportunity as an Executive Assistant supporting the CIO based in our North Sydney office on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role will provide support to the Executive of the Technology and Security, and M&A Integration divisions of Vocus.
In this role as the EA, support to the Executive would range from the forward planning and coordination of day-to-day activities for our executive as well as direct reports across the division to ensure the smooth running of the Technology & Security group.
Also, where required this role may be requested to provide additional projects.
About you The ideal candidate will be highly service-oriented, naturally proactive, and take pride in providing excellent support to their Executives and their wider team.
They will have a passion for working in fast-paced environments, enjoy continuous learning, and have a natural interest in technology.
What you'll be doing day-to-day Duties & responsibilities:
Provide full administration support to your Executive.Co-ordinate diary management, inbox management, expenses, and travel arrangements.Engage with the Senior Leadership team to gain a sufficient understanding of team scope, priorities, and culture.Be intuitive & proactive when prioritising and responding to messages.Show initiative by helping the Executive manage and prioritise their workload.Provide support on correspondence, communications, building presentations, and board packs as required.Assist with planning and set-up (logistics, catering etc.)
for team meetings and events.Assist with or co-ordinate the organization of business functions as required.Provide support to the Senior Leadership Team where required.Communicate with the EA community, Execs, Board members, Suppliers, and Clients on behalf of the Executive.Live and breathe our Vocus "one team" value and build great working relationships across the business.What you'll bring to this role Minimum of 5 years' professional experience as an Executive Assistant.Highly service-oriented and naturally proactive.Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills.Ability to liaise at an executive level and to work under pressure.Excellent organizational and administration skills with strong diary management skills.Exceptional corporate presentation and excellent people management skills.Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.Demonstrates discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively.A proactive and flexible approach to work.What We Offer Working at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work.
