We have opportunities to join Optus as Executive Assistant (EA) to members of the Optus Executive Leadership team (Exco). You will be a true EA, comfortable working in an environment of confidentiality, fast pace and change, demonstrating positivity, energy, teamwork, self-drive, and actively seeking ways to assist and add value. We have permanent and 12-month fixed term opportunities.
Working closely with the Exco member, these roles require the ability to work autonomously, think ahead to anticipate needs, identify and solve issues, and foster connection, collaboration and celebration with the broader team. These opportunities are based out of our Macquarie Park Campus in Sydney.
Your day in the life at Optus: Schedule internal and external appointments together with domestic and international meetings with an understanding of key priorities to manage time most effectively.Gather information to build documentation for meetings, workshops, events and produce high quality formatted and presentable documentation.Arrange domestic and international travel and accommodation including submission of requests and ensuring itinerary and meeting documentation are in order.Understand the priorities of Exco Member and effectively manage available time in line with guidelines provided.Confidential management of emails and ownership of actions awaiting a response.Liaise with EAs, both internally and externally to ensure scheduling conflicts or constraints are understood and accommodated wherever possible.Your skills to pay the bills: Deep experience supporting an executive level leader (C-Suite / ExCo) as an EA within a sophisticated organisation.Highly developed interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication with the ability to represent your Exco member and the organisation in a positive, calm and professional manner at all times.You are a pro-active member of your team; you take the lead to offer support to your leader working alongside them through changing environments.You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to multitask, pivot and meet tight deadlines.Optus is a place where we let you do you.
