Sydney CBD I Not-for-profit environment I Social Care industryWork closely with the Executive Leader, Finance and CorporateRewarding role in a friendly working environmentAbout the Role Barnardos are looking for an Executive Assistant for the Executive Leader, Finance & Corporate Division.
This is a part-time permanent role based in Ultimo, 2007.
Role can be either 21hrs or 25hrs a week.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for:
Provide high-level executive support to the Executive Leader, Finance & Corporate, working in a fast-paced environment.Liaise with and coordinate requests from internal and external stakeholders and provide a professional point of contact for all enquiries.Manage complex diaries, including scheduling of meetings, negotiating appointments, and booking travel and accommodation.Coordinate Executive Meetings, administration support, preparation of documents and resources for the Executive Leader in advance of meetings, diary and travel management.Assist on various projects across the portfolio, including project tracking, communication plan oversight and following up on agreed actions.Evaluate information and situations to identify level of urgency, risk, confidentiality and sensitivity, ensuring the most appropriate action is identified, directed to the correct person to address and matters are escalated to Executive Leader in appropriate timeframes.Undertake research and prepare draft reports, presentations and submissions and other correspondence for the Executive Leader.Assist Executive Leader with oversight and reporting on project and service improvement initiatives as required.Travel as required.About You As an Executive Assistant, you will ideally have:
Diploma level qualification in Business/Administration or relevant discipline (desirable).Demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing high-level administrative assistance and support to a senior management role including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment.Ability to build rapport and relationships across the organisation at all levels.Proven ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.Advanced proficiency in preparing various documentation (memorandums, agendas, minutes, letters, internal briefings, reports, presentations etc.)
using Microsoft office suite of applications.Strong attention to detail with advanced administration support skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills.NSW drivers' licence.About The Organisation Barnardos Australia is one of the nation's leading child protection charities.

Salary range based on experience.
Packaging available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax-free.
Motor vehicle packaging available on selected roles.To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance and current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check.
