Ngadju Native Title Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NNTAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) for the Ngadju People of the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.  The Ngadju Native Title determination is one of the largest in Australia.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant / Communications Officer to provide administrative support to our CEO and the Board. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, while working independently with little or no supervision. 
Responsibilities: Provide high level executive support to the CEO and the Board including management of their diary, travel and other administrative support tasks.Proactively assist the CEO to meet the obligations of running the Board, including preparation of agendas.Accurately record the decisions, commitments and major discussion points made at community meetings and all meetings led by the CEO.Preparing draft minutes from each meeting for review, approval and circulation.Develop plans and objectives for short-term tasks and contribute to strategic planning for longer term initiatives of the office.Assist with building CEO presentations and information gathering.Proactively respond to enquiries from Board Members with a high level of discretion, maturity, diplomacy, and judgement, ensuring exceptional experience.Implement and maintain governance best practice and compliance pertaining to the Board in consultation with the CEO.Oversee the assembly, circulation and notifications of Board documentation, including setting deadlines and communications with the Executive team.Maintain full contact list of board members including board member appointment dates and term of appointments.Create and maintain an up to date boarding planning calendar.Preparation of a range of relevant, responsive, and engaging corporate, customer and stakeholder communication materials ie; newsletters, emails, and website.Crafting, delivery, and moderation of Corporation social media content.Draft and format official documents, letters and reports as required. What We're Looking For: Essential Criteria Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar executive support roleDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptable to change, with the ability to effectively coordinate tasks and balance competing priorities to meet critical deadlines.Intercultural understanding through recognition and respect.Demonstrated attention to detail, a professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.High standard of service delivery for internal and external stakeholders, management, and staff.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to create, edit, and format documents, spreadsheets, and presentations efficiently.Desirable Criteria Tertiary qualifications in business administration, communications, or a related field.Previous experience working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander People.At least one (1) year experience of previous service to a Board. Experience in social media and website management.
