Be challenged and imagine with us The College of Human and Social Futures is seeking a proactive and highly experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC).
This role is central in ensuring the smooth operation of the Office of the PVC, offering executive, administrative, and analytical assistance to support the College's strategic planning, decision-making, and daily operations.
You will: Manage the PVC's diary, correspondence, and meeting preparations, ensuring all materials are ready for engagements.
Provide secretarial support for key meetings, including agenda setting, minute-taking, and tracking actions.
Oversee the PVC's domestic and international travel arrangements, financial management tasks (purchasing, tracking expenses), and the coordination of visiting delegations.
Gather, research, and analyse data to produce timely reports that inform the College's strategic planning.
Liaise with senior leaders across the university to collate relevant information and insights Contribute to College projects and process improvement initiatives, ensuring the effective implementation of quality systems and procedures.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication between the Office of the PVC and other university divisions.
This continuing position is full time at a HEW 6 Higher Education Level located at NUSpace, Newcastle City Campus.
