DescriptionExecutive Assistant – MelbourneAlvarez & Marsal is a leading independent global professional services firm, specialising in providing turnaround management, performance improvement, and corporate advisory services. With more than 10,000 professionals based in locations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, we have recently expanded to Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to join our Alvarez & Marsal office in Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to join our team from the beginning and help to build our culture and ways of working.What you will be doing day to day:Provide executive assistant support to four Managing Directors.Drafting and editing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, etc.Coordinate internal and external meetings including but not limited to team meetings, full staff meetings, all hands meetings, off-site meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc. (in person or virtual room set up, meal/gift ordering, etc.)Effectively interface with employees from other business units within A&M and senior executives both inside and outside the company.Work cross-functionally with corporate enabling teams including IT, HR, marketing, AP, legal, and building maintenance to ensure smooth business operations.Planning, coordinating, and executing special projects and events.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne office including managing and supporting Melbourne-based Receptionist.Assist with onboarding process for new hires, and offboarding process for exiting employees.Oversee office maintenance and liaise with vendors/suppliers.What you'll bring:Extensive administration experience supporting senior executives with excellent communication skills and high levels of confidentiality.Strong relationship management skills, ability to build a personal network throughout the company as a trusted team member.Excellent computer and calendaring skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Salesforce, Concur, file sharing software (i.e., Box).Strong problem-solver.Self-motivated and a great team player.Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges.Please note our offices will be closed until the 6th of January 2025 and will respond to any enquiries after this date.#J-18808-Ljbffr
