This new position will provide executive assistance to the Director of ENT Head & Neck Surgery/ Professor of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. You will provide high level administrative assistance and project coordination for a growing research team and an established clinical service providing world-class Head & Neck Cancer care. The role will suit a dynamic and motivated individual who can navigate healthcare and university sectors while managing relationships with diverse collaborators.
Provide high level administrative support to the Director of ENT Head & Neck Cancer unit and Professor of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery with a busy clinical, research and meeting scheduleAssisting with research planning including ethics applications, reports and grant proposalsAssist with presentations and documents for scientific meetings, education resources and material for potential donorsHelping to build and manage diverse, evolving and complex relationships with external partners including the University of Melbourne, Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre Alliance & Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery
Classifications for this position will range from HS3 - HS25 ($74,448.40 - $82,305.60 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and key stakeholdersHigh level skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and an ability to work with media to produce/edit presentations, images and video.Proficiency in database managementCurrent National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)What we Offer

The ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Unit is a multidisciplinary team at SVHM providing ENT and Head & Neck cancer care as well as an academic team, affiliated with the University of Melbourne Department of Surgery, situated on site at SVHM.
