Details of the offer

Executive Assistant | Office of the CEO | Civil Services Industry/Hobart
Support a dynamic leadership team in a newly created role offering variety and impact.
Enjoy a competitive salary, free parking, and a stunning Hobart location.
Be a key player in assisting executive decision-making.
The Opportunity
Step into a newly created Executive Assistant role with an established, proudly Tasmanian-owned organisation that is a leader in the civil services. Specialising in essential infrastructure services, this company is known for its commitment to quality and innovation, consistently delivering solutions that improve safety and functionality across Tasmania.
In this role, you'll be the right hand to the CEO and a key support to the leadership team, directly influencing the smooth operation of the executive office. You'll manage high-level administrative duties, co-ordinate meetings and board activities, and act as a liaison between senior leaders and internal/external stakeholders.
If you're someone who relishes the idea of being at the heart of a high-performing team, this is your chance to truly make an impact and shape the role to fit your strengths.
This is not just an administrative role—it's an opportunity to integrate yourself into the core of the business and be part of its continued success. Your proactive approach and ability to anticipate the needs of the leadership team will be key to driving efficiency and ensuring the business runs seamlessly at the executive level.
About You
You're an experienced, high-performing Executive Assistant who thrives in roles that offer variety, responsibility, and a direct connection to leadership. With at least 5 years of experience in a senior EA role, you have the skills and confidence to manage competing priorities and provide support in fast-moving environments. Your background in administration, ideally in industries such as civil services or utilities, equips you with a solid foundation to excel in this role.
You're more than just a great organiser—you're a trusted advisor and key team member. Your exceptional communication skills and professional demeanour allow you to build strong relationships at all levels, while your keen attention to detail ensures nothing falls through the cracks. You're someone who sees the bigger picture and is excited by the opportunity to take ownership of a newly developed role where your contributions are truly valued.
On top of this, the role offers a work-life balance that's hard to find—based in the northern suburbs of Hobart, you'll enjoy a peaceful work environment with stunning mountain views, free parking, and a friendly, collaborative team. This is your chance to bring your expertise to a role that's as rewarding professionally as it is personally.
How To Apply
If this sounds like your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your application via SEEK, LinkedIn, or the Arete Executive jobs page, including your CV and a cover letter detailing your suitability for the role. For inquiries, contact Donald at 0426240227 or via email at ******.
