This fast-paced, multifaceted role will be tasked with providing high-level administrative and executive support for the Provost including diary management, travel arrangements and secretariat responsibilities. It will also be required to draft reports and communications, undertake background research and collate accurate information, plan and oversee events and functions, and support finance and HR related duties for the Office. They will also be required to work collaboratively with the Office Coordinator in supporting the general operational duties for the Provost. The Executive Assistant will be the first point of contact for internal and external visitors and will therefore have exceptional client service experience along with the proven ability to always represent the Office professionally.About the personThis position would suit a natural organiser and therefore we will be looking for candidates to demonstrate the following:Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar Executive Assistant position.Proven ability to work as part of a team to problem solve in a complex environment.Experience in coordinating and managing projects, events, and meetings, including logistics, travel, agendas, and follow-ups.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise correspondence, reports, and presentations.Salary detailsThe salary for this 0.544 FTE position commences at $43,966 per annum (Full-time Equivalent is $80,787 per annum) plus 12% superannuation per annum. Working hours will be over 5 days.Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to two years, with twelve months' probation.
