Tourism Top End (TTE) is a not-for-profit, member-based regional tourism organization located in Darwin, serving as the primary voice for the Top End tourism industry. We support our members and the wider tourism sector through a range of programs and initiatives. TTE collaborates closely with the Northern Territory Government, City of Darwin, and the Australian Tourism Industry Council to manage and deliver impactful tourism programs for the region.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupporting the General Manager and leadership team in executing the Association's strategic plan and meeting program partnership commitments.Providing secretarial support to the Board, including preparing agendas, compiling and distributing documents, and managing logistical needs like equipment, travel, venues, and catering.Offering full administrative assistance to the General Manager, managing their schedule, setting priorities, and ensuring they are prepared for meetings and engagements.Assisting the General Manager with grant-related tasks, including applications, renewals, reporting, and financial reconciliations.Coordinating travel schedules for the General Manager and Board across the Top End.Organizing sectorial sub-committee meetings, supporting members, and ensuring thorough coordination with relevant parties.Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Executive team, Board, and staff, as well as external stakeholders.Establishing and maintaining effective administrative systems for the General Manager's office, facilitating efficient daily operations.Specific Skill RequirementsStrong multitasking and prioritization abilities.Excellent time management and organizational skills.High attention to detail.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in minute-taking and reporting.Professional discretion and confidentiality in all interactions.
