About The RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to join a local council in Western Victoria in the Planning Department on a temporary basis for 2-3 months to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to 1 Executive Manager and 3 managers in the Planning Department.Manage a busy calendar, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.Facilitate communication and coordination with various teams, including the CEO's EA.Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Support the planning team across various functions, including statutory planners, strategic planners, policy and growth, building services, public health, community safety, and school crossing supervision.Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant within Local Government - non-negotiable; will not be considered without this.Strong understanding of planning processes and technical information is preferred but not essential.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a full calendar efficiently.Proficiency in online work tools and a flexible approach to remote work (minimal in-office presence, approximately one day per week).High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.To express your interest, please email your up-to-date resume by clicking the apply button below.
