About the Position As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Vice President, Community Connection.
This role delivers professional standards in office administration and requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, discretion, and judgment and the ability to interact with senior staff and external stakeholders.
The role supports the overall business administration of the Vice President and the Community Connection team, which is based across five locations.
About You To be successful, you will require: Completion of a Degree in Business or a related area with two years subsequent experience, or education, training and/or relevant experience and /or a combination of recent relevant work experience in office administration, particularly executive support.
Proven effective administrative skills at the executive level, with the ability to prioritise workloads, to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
High-level ability in operational and financial administration and experience with systems such as One Education or their equivalent.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high-level command of English grammar.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with senior management, staff, clients and other stakeholders in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner.
Proven initiative and organisational skills of a high order, together with the ability to work independently and flexibly to complete tasks within required timeframes and engage in effective teamwork.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills and cultural competency.
Advanced level user of software such as Word, Excel, and PPT etc.
for drafting appropriately formatted reports, correspondence, briefings and other documentation for distribution internally and externally.
Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 6.
The base salary will be in the range of $86,629 - $92,329 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $101,356 - $108,025 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
