Position Purpose: The primary purpose of the position is to provide timely, accurate and professional support and assistance to the Executive General Manager, Finance and Infrastructure (CFO).
The Role of the Executive Assistant will be to perform a wide range of administrative duties requiring the job holder to have an excellent level of office administration, report writing, financial acumen, presentation and communication skills, as well as interfacing effectively with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
As Executive Assistant, this role supports the underlying Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lismore by delivering services that contribute to enabling students to experience the fullness of life.
Work Requirements: A current/valid Australian Driver's Licence A National Police Check, or ability to obtain if the successful candidate Requirement to travel between locations if required.
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Business Administration, or similar.
Work Experience: At least 5 years' experience working in a busy office environment, within a support role to a senior executive, preferably within or exposure to Finance.
Experience working with committees in a secretarial role (preferred but not essential).
Key Capabilities: Excellent written and interpersonal skills i.e.
listening, empathising, evaluating the response of others and responding appropriately and sensitively to the needs of the individual/s.
Outstanding organisational skills, including work planning and time management, with the ability to work to defined deadlines, to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and remain focused.
Strong skills in stakeholder management and community engagements.
Excellent computer skills with demonstrated ability in MS Office/Google suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Navigating new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and continuously improve.
Problem solving skills and an ability to identify and resolve issues using your own initiative.
Experience in drafting communications, presentations and supporting events management.
Experience working with information that is confidential and sensitive.
