Why your Role Matters
This is a dynamic position providing confidential executive support services to our DVSIEE leadership team at the highest level.
As a seasoned EA, your focus will be offering high-level administration support, exercising appropriate discretion and initiative across diary/meeting management, travel coordination, correspondence/documentation preparation and liaising with senior leaders.
This role reports in the Operations Business Unit, led by the Director Operations is responsible for delivering the management of administration for the Division.
Working closely with other divisional EAs, you'll act as the first point of contact for the area, always maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and using your sound judgment to coordinate priorities.
Who you are: We're looking for a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills to build trusted working relationships across the University.
As an analytical thinker and natural problem-solver, you'll provide advanced administrative and logistical support to enable DVSIEE to achieve their strategic priorities.
You will hold the following skills & experience:
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant to senior leaders within a large and complex organisation.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with sensitive and confidential matters.Confidence using Microsoft Office software including Outlook diary management, Word and Excel.High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.Project management skills, displaying strong initiative and a proactive approach.The ability to work under pressure and solve administrative and complex diary management problems.Confidence to maintain effective and professional channels of communication, analyse requests, filter correspondence and prioritise urgent matters.For further information on the role and accountabilities, please refer to the position description found on Jobs@UNSW.
