About the Role: Responsibilities include:
Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Principal/Executive Principal, including word processing, database and spreadsheet applications and produce advanced desktop published documents.Oversee the delivery of documentation presented to the Principal/Executive Principal, schedule appointments, coordinate and organise meetings, conferences, and professional development for staff, maintain diaries, take minutes of meetings and distribute to attendees.Maintain effective time management practices for the Principal/Executive Principal including coordinating diary appointments, prioritising correspondence, and preventing unnecessary interruptions.Monitor and screen incoming telephone calls and correspondence to the office and direct these to the appropriate areas as necessary.The role directly supports the Deputy Principals and is supervised by the Principal's Executive Services Officer.The ideal applicant will have the following skills:
Ability to work independently.Ability to interpret and accurately apply policy.Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple Deputies.Ability to commence work by 8.00am daily.Knowledgeable with One School functionality.Knowledge of Education Qld policy and DOE standards are critical.Whilst this is advertised as a full-time position, part-time may be considered for a suitable candidate.
