About the role The Executive Assistant / Board Support Officer provides a range of high-level executive and secretariat support to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors at both Western District Health Service (WDHS) and Casterton Memorial Hospital (CMH). This role provides support for a robust governance framework and helps both the Western District Health Service and Casterton Memorial Hospital Boards meet their governance obligations.
The Executive Assistant / Board Support Officer will ensure timely and expert executive coordination, communication, and professional support and diary management. The role coordinates high-level committees, meetings, and related forums chaired or convened by the Chief Executive Officer or Board Chairs. You will be required to coordinate the submission of reports, briefings, and related documents for the attention of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, ensuring that all tasks are clearly communicated and efficiently executed within both organisations.
Reporting directly to the joint Chief Executive Officer of Western District Health Service and Casterton Memorial Hospital, this dedicated and driven individual will navigate a fast-paced environment where maintaining accuracy and excellence is paramount. Your ability to thrive under pressure while handling multiple tasks will be crucial. Confidentiality, integrity, and trustworthiness are essential qualities, as you will manage sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.
Formal qualifications in business administration and/or extensive experience providing support at a senior administrative level, including advanced computer skills, are required.
