An exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to work closely with the General Manager of BMA Caval Ridge and wider Leadership Team, as well as other key stakeholders, providing high-level administrative support. This role is provided as FIFO (from Brisbane or Cairns) or DIDO - on a 4/3 roster. Key accountabilities include the following: Provide executive administrative support to the General ManagerResponsible for the proactive management of the General Manager's diary and emailManage organisation of day-to-day activities, forward planning, and coordination of meetingsProactively manage information flow and communications, including internal and external calls, requests, and correspondence, and delegation of other matters to appropriate employeesCollate and prepare presentations, papers, documents, including collection and interpretation of data from key contactsSupports General Manager on projects as requiredMaintains confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence, and related materialSupporting the functions of the business where required (HR, Finance, HSE)Site administration tasks such as assisting with external visitors, site access requirements, catering, and other general administration dutiesAbout You We are looking for someone who is resilient, adaptable, and embraces change. You will be required to work well with ambiguity and under pressure, at times with conflicting priorities. Experience in stakeholder management and administration at an executive level for a large organisation is preferred.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role, or in supporting dynamic Leadership teamsSound business judgement, high professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting prioritiesExcellent skills in Microsoft Office productsExperience using SAP, preferredAbout Our Process At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
