We maintain and enhance IT solutions, manage grants data and transform it into insights, and support our people with workforce planning and capability building. Key duties of an APS4 Executive Assistant include:managing and organising the GM's inbox, calendar, appointments, and handling phone calls.managing clearance, meeting preparation time, and meeting debrief time in consultation with the Executive Officers (EO).managing the workflows of tasks for the GM and ensuring priorities and timeframes are met.working cohesively with the Executive Officer to manage processes and systems of the branch and the broader division.organising travel and finance for the GM.providing general administrative support, including distributing information and correspondence, preparing meeting agendas, record keeping and tracking correspondence.In addition to the above, the key duties for an APS5 Executive Assistant will include:supporting the divisional executive team.identifying and prioritising critical work requirements.mentoring and guiding less experienced EAs within the division.driving the improvement of internal processes under the direction of the EO.assisting with broader branch and divisional initiatives.EligibilityTo be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens. Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.NotesWe are committed to supporting flexible work arrangements, which will be discussed with the successful applicant.
