We value the unique perspective and complementary skills that come from working within a diverse environment and work together to create value to the community we serve.About this opportunityThe Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level executive and administrative support to the CIT Woden Campus Project Director (Executive Group Manager) and the Deputy Project Director (Executive Branch Manager), and administrative support to the broader team. Working closely, under limited supervision, with the executive team, the Executive Assistant will ensure all incoming and out-going communications are managed in a timely manner, prepare correspondence as required and manage the executives' diaries, including appointment bookings, meetings and preparation of travel arrangements for the broader team.What do you need to succeedThe below capabilities form the criteria that are vital for you to be successful in this role:Experience in providing high level executive and administrative support services, prioritising, coordinating and managing the workflows within tight timeframes, and a fast paced and dynamic team.Effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, liaison and problem-solving skills, and the demonstrated ability to prepare sensitive correspondence and reports with accuracy and attention to detail.Proven proficiency in the use of various standard computer applications, ministerial and briefing procedures.A collaborative approach to developing productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the ACT Government and Major Projects Canberra Values framework, workplace respect, equity and diversity framework, workplace health and safety best practice and industrial democracy principles and practice.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community.
