Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic Executive and Governance Assistant with exemplary experience; including administrative and secretarial functions to support the CEO and Director of Medical Services.
The role will require someone with demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload with multiple demands. Exceptional skills in the use of the Microsoft suite as well as experience using the Convene software program will be favourably viewed. We are keen to for an applicant who has the capacity to sustain effort and productivity, setting a high standard for self and others. The role entails strong and engaging people skills as the sensitive nature of key information will require the emotional intelligence to deal with diversity and complex communications. Ideally the applicant will have the ability to draft and develop information including grant submissions and lead projects as directed by the CEO.
About you
Exceptional skills in the use of Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise work and diary management for Chief Executive Officer/Director of Medical Services/Board of Directors in an environment with multiple demands.
Proficient skills in the development of documentation such as meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, submissions and reports.
Demonstrated capacity for sustained effort and hard work within a vigorous and dynamic work environment, setting a high standard of performance for self and others.
To be enthusiastic, be able to work both in an Executive team environment and independently.
Demonstrated diplomacy, confidentiality and interpersonal skills that support and enhance positive relationships.
