Drawing inspiration from the local environment, the 40-room boutique hotel is a carefully curated space that connects you to nature and its surroundings, subtly integrating the magic of the area within the design. Our Milawa Hotel has both indoor and outdoor spaces that flow freely regardless of temperature, allowing one to truly interact with the biosphere: the warmth of the sun during the summer and the comfort of fire when it cools.
About you:AQF Diploma or associate degree required with two years of relevant experienceAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualificationRelevant qualifications in Commercial CookeryRelevant experience in a premium restaurant/banquet kitchenEnthusiasm and a creative approach to providing high-quality cuisineDemonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCPAvailability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating rosterWell presented, punctual, and reliableAbility to plan and develop menus, manage labour costs, and food orderingMonitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisationPrepare and cook food to hygiene regulationsAbility to keep your section clean and organised with a good understanding of workflow and structureAbility to prioritize and work under pressureA passion for quality food and produceOwn transport requiredYou will be joining a high-performing workplace that believes in developing new talent and empowering people to drive their own results.
