Source: uWorkin JOB DESCRIPTION We're looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our fully remote, supportive team on a casual or contract basis. This virtual, work-from-home position starts with a 3-month contract, with the potential to extend into a permanent part-time role.
About us AAPi is a not-for-profit peak body dedicated to preserving the rich diversity of psychological practice in Australia. Founded in 2010 by a group of passionate grassroots psychologists, AAPi is committed to addressing inequality within the profession and ensuring that all psychologists and their clients are represented equally to government and funding bodies. Our primary mission is to advocate for fair access to professional psychological services, including the Medicare Better Access Scheme and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, for all Australians.
We are a close-knit, dynamic team, deeply passionate about psychology in Australia. Our focus is on supporting our members and championing the profession, ensuring that psychology remains accessible and equitable for everyone in the country.
About you We are looking for a pro-active and tech-savvy team member to provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all phone and email inquiries, and provide administrative support to our team.
You will have:
Strong administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.Professionalism and a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.The ability to work autonomously and embrace technology.High IT-literacy, with proficiency in standard Microsoft office apps. Experience with iMIS, Canva, MYOB desirable but not essential.Experience working with associations, not-for-profits and/or in the health sector is desirable.About the role Your role will be busy and varied, with the below central tasks:
Provide professional administrative support, email management, and handling phone inquiries.Maintain and update databases and documents with accuracy and attention to detail.Assist with various administrative tasks and support our team in day-to-day operations.Why Join Us?
