The Role
As a Team Leader, you'll be a powerhouse at the helm of our Toowoomba team, driving our mission through innovative, compassionate, trauma-informed services.

Your Mission as Team Leader:
Inspire and Lead: Build a motivated, resilient team dedicated to client-focused, life-changing support.
Develop and Empower: Guide recruitment, induction, and professional growth, ensuring every team member is set up for success.
Deliver with Excellence: Uphold DVAC's high standards, ensuring compliance, best practices, and a consistent focus on trauma-informed care.
Innovate and Grow: Collaborate with senior leaders to enhance our programs, bringing creativity and new perspectives to the table.
Engage and Partner: Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, creating a seamless, integrated approach to our services.
Champion a Culture of Care: Model and advocate for gender-based violence prevention, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all.
What You Bring
Passion and Expertise: Tertiary qualifications in human services and a history of effective leadership in trauma-informed, feminist practice.
Client-Centric Skills: Exceptional therapeutic and counseling abilities, including risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
Communication Proficiency: A natural connector with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building collaborative, trust-filled relationships.
Diversity Awareness: Experience supporting diverse communities, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
Commitment to Safety: Familiarity with National Child Safe Standards and dedication to applying these in practice.
Necessary Credentials: Current driver's licence, Blue Card, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
