We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Microsoft Exchange Administrator to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Microsoft Exchange environment, ensuring its optimal performance, security and availability.
This role requires a deep understanding of Exchange Server, Office 365 and related technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
What will you do? Manage and maintain the Microsoft Exchange environment, including Exchange Server and Office 365. Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure the stability and security of the Exchange infrastructure. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability. Manage user accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, and other Exchange-related objects. Implement and manage email security measures, including spam filtering, antivirus and encryption. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for the Exchange environment. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Exchange with other systems and applications. Stay up to date with the latest developments in Exchange Server and related technologies. You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application. A Negative Vetting 2 security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role. Minimum of 6 years' experience in a like or related field. Applicants with tertiary qualifications in relevant field would be highly regarded. Additional Information This position is an AFP Band level 8. This position can be worked from any capital city in Australia but will report into the section based in Canberra, ACT.
