Job Summary:
As a Cleaner at our disability support company, you would play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for individuals with disabilities.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all areas of our clients' facilities are kept in impeccable condition, adhering to hygiene standards, and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces in common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and recreational spaces.
Ensure that all cleaning activities meet the specific needs and sensitivities of individuals with disabilities.
Sanitation and Infection Control:
Follow established protocols for sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a hygienic environment.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with other support staff to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and support staff regarding any issues related to cleanliness or facility maintenance.
Respect for Individual Needs:
Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the privacy and personal space of individuals with disabilities.
Adapt cleaning practices to accommodate specific requirements and preferences of clients.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimise risks for clients, staff, and yourself.
Report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Flexibility:
Be adaptable to changes in scheduling and tasks as needed to meet the dynamic needs of the disability support services.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in professional cleaning preferred.
Understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to varying tasks and schedules.
Commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive environment for clients.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves physical activities such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and pushing cleaning equipment.
Applicants should be physically fit and able to perform these tasks comfortably.

Pay: $33.75 – $50.00 per hour
