We invest in technology to dramatically reduce greenhouse gases and environmental degradation to protect the planet for future generations.About the Role:We are looking for an Excavator Operator to work in our Soil Yard, based at our Epping site. This position has become available due to our ongoing growth and expansion.This is a full-time, ongoing position, with an immediate start available. The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 6am - 4pm, with these hours fluctuating according to business needs.Responsibilities:Drive and operate excavators, plant and associate equipment as requiredParticipate in toolbox talks and prestart meetingsUndertake basic plant and equipment maintenance in accordance with agreed practiceAdvise Team Leader - Maintenance of potential mechanical issues relating to plant and equipmentMaintain accurate records including, but not limited to; daily site diary, material delivery records and varying OH&S documentationComplete time sheets, ensuring that labour and plant hours are recorded using the MEX applicationConduct end of use cleaning of equipment using supplied tools within guidelines of the Fire Management Plan.About you:The following skills / licenses / experience are also required:Prior experience operating Excavators in a sales yard on loadrite scalesExcavator ticket – Essential for Bark and Mulch rolesFront End Loader ticket – Essential for all rolesWater truck, Moxy, and HR licenses / tickets would be a great advantage but are not essentialDriver's License and car to access siteFull working rights in AustraliaAbility to undertake a pre-employment medical check (including a drug and alcohol test), and to complete a National Police CheckWhy Repurpose It?Here at Repurpose It we genuinely live by our values of integrity, future-focused, sustainability and care & protect.
