The Opportunity:The Northern Territory Government is delivering the largest ship lift in Northern Australia, establishing Darwin as a key player in the global marine services industry. Hall Contracting is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join the dredging operations for the Darwin Ship Lift project team.
About You:Current Excavator ticket.Proven experience operating large excavators in a high-production environment.Experience working on barges.Marine experience/qualifications (e.g., previous deckhand roles).Ability to work on a 20:10 roster with day and night shifts.Ability to liaise with and follow site management directives.Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.Strong organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation skills.Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.The Benefits:Highly collaborative, family-oriented team culture.Exceptional rates with work located close to home.Opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career with a reputable marine and civil contractor.Work closely with a team of highly experienced personnel.All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
