Reporting to the Vice President of Embedded Systems, you will work on production algorithms and features within the Electronic Warfare domain, focusing on developing and enhancing both new and existing capabilities using modern design practices. This role involves collaborating with high-profile customers, including military forces, government agencies, airports, critical infrastructure, and law enforcement. You will have the opportunity to tackle some of the world's most challenging technical problems in Electronic Warfare. Based in central Sydney, Australia, this position offers visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for the right candidate and their dependants. This is an incredible opportunity to be at the forefront of electronic warfare technology while living in the stunning harbourside city of Sydney!What you'll need to succeedMust have extensive experience in a foreign Electronic Warfare position. USA, UK or Israeli organisations are highly regarded.Must be able to relocate or already be based in Sydney, Australia.Bachelor (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.Extensive Software development experience (Python, C++).Must have previous Defence or Defence Industry work experience within the RF-EW domain.Experience in Linux embedded platforms.Working knowledge of modern architectural patterns and software design patterns.Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Experience with compiled language Go, C++, or C, scripting language Python, JavaScript, or Shell and database systems SQL or NoSQL is desirable.Domain knowledge; Familiarity with 'front-end' RF (receiver) components, 'back-end' RF (processor) components and signal/data processing techniques.What you'll get in returnThis is a permanent opportunity, based in the heart of Sydney, offers further development and career progression with an organisation at the forefront of technology used in the defence, government, and critical infrastructure industries around the world.
