Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Children & Young People
Location: Mount Isa, Queensland
Salary: $97,300 - $101,784 (SCHADS Level 5) + Super, 17.5% leave loading, and salary packaging options

The ROSA, Bridge, and RAIFS programs provide comprehensive support to at-risk children, young people, and families. The ROSA program delivers therapeutic services to children under statutory intervention, while the Bridge program offers early intervention through family education and practical support. RAIFS adds community development and counseling services, focusing on families at risk of breakdown. Together, these programs promote stability, safety, and resilience in vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support & Case Management :Manage a small caseload of complex ROSA clients, offering trauma-informed counseling and behavioral support. Oversee the TIPS service, providing guidance for placements within the ROSA program. Leadership & Staff Mentorship :Mentor and support team members in case management, professional development, and trauma-informed practices. Assist with new staff induction, case planning, and skill development. Collaboration & Compliance :Partner with stakeholders to deliver holistic support for clients, ensuring cultural sensitivity. Assist the Program Manager with eligibility screening, intakes, reporting, and compliance requirements. Benefits:

Qualifications : Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with 3+ years of therapeutic experience with children and young people. Experience : Strong knowledge of trauma-informed and child development frameworks. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance to staff. Cultural Competency : Skilled in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Compliance : Current driver's license, Working with Children Blue Card, and Disability Worker Screening. How to Apply:
