About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to extract, view, analyse and store evidence and other information for use in criminal or civil proceedings in the Victorian Court of law or in tribunals. The role is responsible for viewing and downloading digitised images stored on digital video recording device hard drives which are on the public transport systems Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System.
Position Outcomes / Accountabilities CCTV Footage Captured – ensure that evidentiary footage has been captured as an asset and is current, accurate and preserved.Specialist Expertise – Independently performs technical work in a narrow field of expertise.Service Delivery – provides high quality, responsive services to stakeholders across the Department, dealing with problems or issues promptly and effectively.Stakeholder Engagement – builds and maintains effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and has provided sound advice and support.Continuous Improvement – has actively driven improvements to practices and outcomes achieving improved efficiency and productivity.Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.We are seeking a resilient and adaptable individual who excels in high-pressure environments, keeping both themselves and their team calm while making decisive actions to overcome challenges. Able to assess situations and identify the best systems tools for analysing, understanding the system and addressing problems.Capable of integrating digital and technological developments in the design and delivery of relevant policies, programs and services.Ability to understand customer requirements and how work addresses customer needs; Identify opportunities to improve services.Able to be polite, professional and considerate in dealing with others; Reflects on how own emotions impact on others.Qualifications and Experience Mandatory Experience working with sensitive and/or confronting visual and written material.Experience with the use of digital CCTV equipment, video equipment and relevant software is desirable.Experience in a quality compliance role which was responsible for maintaining NATA, ISO 17025 accreditation.This position has a requirement to work out of hours on occasion which could require evening or weekend work.
