About the Opportunity Securecorp is excited to announce multiple openings for Casual Security Officers to work across our three Hobart retail sites.
Duties and Responsibilities Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises. Responding to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance, and providing the necessary support to associated stakeholders. Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures. Communicate effectively with visitors, customers, and site management. Implement effective strategies for engaging with young people. Control access to and exit from premises. Investigate and prepare reports - Incident report writing and data logs. CCTV Monitoring. Key Selection Criteria Must Have Current Security License and Valid First Aid Certificate. Proven Experience within the Security Industry - Retail preferred. Great communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated Ability to work within a team environment or autonomously. Dependable, reliable, and action-oriented with a strong desire to achieve. It is essential that you have the flexibility to work rotating rosters and the willingness to work nights/weekends.
