Queensland Touch Football are seeking a dynamic and organised Events and Competitions Coordinator to join our QTF Events team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our events, from coordinating logistics and volunteers, supporting event operations and competition coordination. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.
This is an exciting new challenge for an events professional of 1-2 years' experience who is looking to learn & develop their skills with one of the largest participation sports in Queensland. Reporting to the Events Manager (EM), the Events and Competitions Coordinator will be integral to the delivery of QTF events across the state. The role will have two key focuses:
Event coordination, including event logistics, pre-event planning, set up, event delivery and reporting, coordination of travel/accommodation for event staff and officials, and workforce planning; Competition administration, including providing support across competition entry processes, participant registration and management, assisting in draw creation & reviewing, and working alongside key internal stakeholders on referee, education & competition specific requirements. QTF is committed to developing the sport of touch football across Queensland, which includes delivering professional, well-organised events that create an inclusive, healthy and safe environment.
Essential Requirements Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check Drivers Licence Minimum 2 years' previous experience in event coordination, delivering sporting competitions or similar. Demonstrated experience in event coordination and/or competition administration. Desirable Criteria Sports Management / Business Degree Leisure / Recreation Degree First Aid Certificate Current Provide/Perform CPR
