About the role
We're seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our aquatics team on a casual basis to provide instruction to our swim school students. In this role, you will be responsible for developing student knowledge and safety awareness in the aquatic environment, as well as demonstrating and developing swimming techniques and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide an engaging and competent approach of instruction to participants in the swim school program, focusing on safety and positive reinforcement. Teach from lesson plans, giving consistency and quality in lessons. Maintain positive interactions with customers and parents, directing enquiries to the supervisor. Pulse Benefits

Current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR). Current First Aid Certificate. Current Paid Working with Children Check. A high level of customer service delivery skills. Energy and enthusiasm and a desire to help people. Ability to problem solve and work within a team environment. Prior experience in a customer service facing role. Experience interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. A strong customer service orientation and strong work ethic. Be willing to work flexible hours, inclusive of before and after working hours, as well as weekends. Have a good understanding of responsibilities under the National Child Safe Standards and have a strong commitment to advocating for and protecting children.
