Job Description We are a growing Program team that specializes in IT infrastructure-based projects related to end-user experience in the Defence space. It's an exciting time to be in our team, with a strong pipeline of interesting and complex projects. This program is looking to build on existing infrastructure services to improve modern infrastructure and services. We are seeking a technical Evergreen Lead to take ownership of the entire solution and ensure its technical success.

What You'll Do in Your New Role: Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems Coordinate design for uplift or modification of subsystems and integration of total system Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions Determine systems specifications, input / output processes, and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility and maintenance of system security Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies Develop and recommend corrective actions Provide technical guidance for a range of technical skill sets including: database, network, compute, and storage Responsible for delivery of technical components within a given work stream Manage a team of up to ten system engineers on a daily basis Adopt modern technologies supporting CI / CD functionality of solution delivery Adopt modern technologies supporting automated testing functionality of solution delivery, including unit testing, functional testing, integrated testing, performance testing, stress testing Adopt modern technologies supporting PaaS, Infrastructure as Code, SDDC, SDN, etc. Implement modern End User Computing solutions, including but not limited to Win 11 roll-outs, VDI solutions, printing solutions, core services, multifactor authentication, and user experience monitoring solutions. Qualifications: At least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with substantial relevant professional experience and specialized training that is commensurate with the assignment. Relevant certifications or Professional membership would be desirable.

Physical Infrastructure (storage, compute, network) Virtual Infrastructure (storage, compute, network) Windows EUC and Server OSI deployment Citrix Full SDLC Infrastructure as code DevSecOps QA (functional, performance, vulnerability, etc.) Due to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and to hold a current NV-1 or NV-2 security clearance with AGSVA.
