You will be responsible to lead, mentor and manage cleaning teams of up to 15 staff. Flexibility is key as events require availability across a 24/7 day roster. Particularly evening, overnight and weekend availability is essential. This role is best suited to someone with a "hands on" leadership approach and willingness to work with and alongside the team. This is a labour intensive position, you will be required to work both outdoors and indoors in all types of weather conditions, physical fitness and stamina is important. If you are seeking a typical 9am-5pm office job this position is not for you. Duties & Responsibilities Leading and supervising cleaning teams of up to 15 staffDelegating appropriate tasks to staff members skillsetsLiaising with event organisers/ managersNegotiate with clients and contractorsMachine operation; high pressure washing, forklift and ride on sweeper & scrubberForklift OperationGeneral cleaning duties: litter picking, vacuuming, emptying bins, mopping and cleaning of bathroom facilitiesGeneral administrative dutiesWhat we require from you? Previous experience in a labour intensive role Prior experience in cleaning / events operations is highly advantageous Proven leadership experience of 5+ staff Current Drivers License & reliable vehicle Excellent written and verbal communication Computer literacy – MS Office Flexible to work across a 24/7 roster Positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on outcomes and solutions Ability to think on their feet, make decisions and take ownership Desire to grow with an exciting and developing company and industry About us Australian Green Clean's vision is to make waste to landfill a thing of the past.
