This role will contribute to organising, project managing and executing Bunnings corporate events, including Bunnings Trade Expos across Australia and New Zealand, along with numerous supplier and team events.
Reporting to the Events & Activations Manager, the Events Specialist will provide on the ground support, delivery and advice for key events across Australia and New Zealand, delivering engaging experiences to support the business agenda of team, supplier, retail and commercial customer engagement.
Our ideal candidate will come with experience in a similar events or related role, who is an expert in project management, event logistics and making decisions under pressure with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines at once.
Note: This role works across both Australia and New Zealand and will be required to perform regular work out of hours.
Some domestic and international travel will be required. What's involved: Ensure consistency and best practice execution of all Bunnings eventsDeliver engaging events, projects and support activities on time and within budget, including all scheduling and reporting as requiredSupport the Events Lead in ad hoc team duties and responsibilities.You'll need: Tertiary degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, PR or related discipline preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in events management within a national corporate, retail business or agency environment (experience in exhibitions is preferred)Experience in event management software Events Air (preferred)Experience in agency management/processes and ability to develop and maintain mutually respectful partnerships with suppliersStrong verbal communication skills and high level of interpersonal skills including negotiationPractical and commercial understanding of operational issuesGood attention to detail, excellent administrative and organisational skills.You'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.
