As support in our Hotel's largest team, you will coordinate administrative duties and assist the Director of Events Service and management team. This is a role where no two days are the same within a volume and constant environment. It is an ideal role for someone with Banquets/Events Service experience and is looking for their next career move in an administrative position.Duties & Responsibilities will include:Assist the Director of Events Service with the planning, development and implementation of fortnightly rosters using Microster rostering and attendance systemAllocate adequate staffing to ensure the efficient completion of tasks and responsibilities on shiftPrepare relevant materials for events as directed (e.g. preparing menu labels)Liaise with the Sales team, to ensure all floorplans, labels and DDRs are up to date and ready for the operations teamLiaise with the Culinary team and Assistant Managers – Events Service, to ensure all menu items meet and exceed client expectationsAttend internal meetings (e.g. BEO meetings) as requiredMaintain the office area in a neat and tidy manner, ensuring stationery and supply levels are adequateUndertake front of house service duties as requiredOur Ideal Candidate will possess:A passion for providing high quality experiences for guests and clientsThe skills to motivate a diverse, talented teamStrong attention to detailStrong time management and organisational skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsA valid NSW RSAFull Australian working rightsAvailability to work on weekends as required
