About the Role The Events Sales Executive will take the lead with all event enquiries through to the delivery and follow up of events. Reporting to the Sales Manager and General Manager, the Events Sales Executive will bring creativity and confidence with all interactions. Actively work through all enquiries via email and direct phone calls. A strong and confident personality is a must. Maintain detailed lines of communication in Ivvy (CRM) sales database and manage follow-up tasks. Opera would be advantageous. Collaborate with hotel operations and bring suggestions through experience as to how we can elevate the guest experience through events. Facilitate site visits and encourage face to face meetings to build relationships with new and existing clients. Facilitate weekly Business Event Order (BEO) meetings with the internal teams. Communication is key! Co-ordinate sales strategies with direct collaboration with the Sales Manager.
