Salary: Level 2, $66,449 - $71,191 per annum (pro-rata) (DOE (SSO) CA 2022)
This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025. Duncraig Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the north-western suburbs on the coastal strip 18 kilometres from Perth.
We cater for students from Year 7 to Year 12 and are a school of high standards where the care and progress of every child is our priority.
We continue to improve our resources and facilities through the support of our Board, our parent body, and the Education Department.
As the Events Officer, you will provide support with the marketing, planning, and coordinating of school events including graduation, school ball, assemblies, school tours, parents' evenings, and functions.
You will develop a range of school communications, publications, and materials, including social media, to support marketing activities and events.
You should be organised and able to collaborate with others to assist in the coordination and planning of large-scale events such as the annual school ball and graduation.
Additionally, you should have website maintenance experience to support the maintenance and regular updating of the school website, ensuring published content is current, relevant, and that associated links are active.
Experience is also required to support the administration and maintenance of databases and records information management systems.
Proficiency in the use of Facebook, Instagram business, and Canva is preferable.
To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and a solution-focused approach to ensure all school events run smoothly.
