We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Officer to join our client, a vibrant council in Sydney's north shore, for an initial 3-month contract.
About The Role In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in bringing the council's events and place-making activations to life.
You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated team to plan, organise, and deliver a diverse range of events, ensuring they are engaging and successful.
What You'll Bring Proven event experience: A tertiary qualification in Event Management or extensive experience in a similar role is essential.A track record of success: You'll have a proven ability to manage small-medium scale events and activations, from conception to completion.Marketing savvy: Your strong marketing skills will see you develop and implement innovative promotional strategies to maximise event reach and impact.Content and social media expertise: You'll have experience managing website content and utilising social media platforms to promote events effectively.Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are key.
