Events Officer

$70,000 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation
We are seeking a proactive and organised Events Officer to deliver high-quality events and programs that showcase MAGNT's diverse collections and exhibitions. You'll manage venue hire enquiries, support multimedia maintenance in gallery spaces, and ensure exceptional client experiences.
This full-time role requires a passion for innovative events, outstanding customer service, and flexibility for some weekend or after-hours work.

Selection Criteria: Demonstrated 2 years' experience in a customer service environment preferably in functions coordination, event planning and/or operations. Demonstrated skills in the use of systems related to ticketing, booking or point of sale systems. Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment. An appreciation for cultural diversity and an ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Sound understanding of Work Health Safety (WHS) practices to ensure WHS compliance for events and public programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills, an outgoing friendly manner and a positive 'can do' attitude. Capacity to work within budget constraints. A high standard of personal presentation. On occasion perform other duties or special projects in addition to the above key responsibilities as appropriate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
