About the Role
We invite applications for this key role as an Events and Facilities Coordinator to support our experienced Events and Facilities team. This is a critical and 'hands on role', primarily based at our Ridgeway Campus, Ivanhoe, however at times you may also be required to provide assistance to our other campuses located in Macleod and Doreen.
This position is full time, ongoing and will commence in January 2025. The successful applicant will have strong customer service and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and willingness to respond positively to any day-to-day tasks that arise.
Your Everyday
Working closely with the Calendar, Events & Community Engagement Manager, the successful candidate will: Coordinate the Casual Facilities Support Assistants Collaborate with key stakeholders and contractors to set up and pack down events, examinations, concerts, dinners and special events Coordinate the management of event and staff, including kitchen stock, movement of furniture, musical instruments and catering supplies Collaborate with other departments to ensure events and facilities are aligned with the school's overall goals and objectives Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes, including conducting safety inspections, implementing safety protocols, and providing safety training to staff. About You Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve team goals and meet deadlines Demonstrated level of organisation skills to work flexibly and to manage conflicting and changing priorities Outstanding interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build community Highly developed verbal and written communication skills Strong capacity to consult, collaborate and interact with staff, students and parents / guardians.
